Lauren and Kevin’s wedding was a classic Black tie wedding at the timeless Standard Club in Chicago. It is known for it’s beautiful architecture and lush décor in the downtown Chicago. We had a great time taking photo’s in and around the Standard club, every little corner of this club is another opportunity for beautiful wedding photos.
Lauren wore a dazzling strapless dress by Essense of Australia and Kevin a dashing tuxedo with a sharp bow tie. Her makeup was done by Cynde Hoffman and hair by Ginger Damato.
She carried an elegant bouquet by Richard Remiard Design and Kevin a perfect pocket square with his tuxedo.
They had a traditional Jewish ceremony with an exquisite blue paper cut ketubah that looked like a forest.
The ceremony had a very natural warm feel with beautiful flowers and candlelight, The chuppah was made of tree branches and beautiful flowers, it reminded me of getting married in a forest. The spectacular wood floors at the Standard Club looked so magical with the candlelight and chandeliers.
When the florist changed over the room it had a very romantic feel with amber pin lights, crystal vases with floating candles and stunning flowers. The party was a huge success thanks to Sue Primer and her amazing team.
Colby Beserra and The Party Faithful rocked the night away including a rousing hora!
What wedding would end without a sweet treat, Lauren and Kevin’s surprised the guests with passed milk shakes and cookies to take home.
