I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the Designer’s Challenge for Chicago Style Weddings. A team of the best vendors in Chicago created wedding decor from a description that the magazine decided. It was so cool seeing how each vendor interpreted the challenge.

He Said Yes!
Another styled shoot was designed for a same-sex wedding. They even used my wedding ring for the shoot because all of the vendors involved were women. I was happy to contribute!
Misha Newgren said this about this styled shoot: It was a contemporary approach to the idea of a same-sex male couple as if they would have celebrated a wedding in the United States in the 1960s. The use of deep teal and warm orange speak to the modern colors and textural combinations of that era. Our designer’s challenge was a full collaboration among our creative team.
